I obtained my visa with no hang-ups, I was able to leave Morehead City with no hitches... Everyone talks about how much they will miss me, etc. It's nice that people like me enough to miss me, but it also makes me feel bad to hear them say it. Yes, I will miss them too, but I am eager to leave. This is not the end of my summer. It is prelude to a new adventure. I have mixed emotions of excitement, joy, bliss, anxiety, and nostalgia.
My departure is TEN DAYS AWAY!!! I can only hope that while I am away from the Americas, everyone I love and care for will do great things for themselves.
